Dr. Sandeep Guleria is a highly qualified transplant surgeon with 33 years of experience in this field. He is a professor in the Department of Surgery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and he is also currently working at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi specializing in kidney transplants. His special interests lie in vascular access surgery, dialysis, peritoneal dialysis surgery, percutaneous renal biopsies and renal transplant surgery.
The renowned doctor has led his team in performing the first two kidney-pancreas transplants in India. His expertise has led to acquiring a life membership in various associations such as the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, INASL, etc. He has a large number of publications under his name.
